As real estate developers and builders we have spent 20 years developing real estate projects in Michigan and South Florida. However, when it came to funding our projects and going out to raise the money, it came from out of town investment funds and institutional banks. Most of them had little or no connection to the communities where we were building and often most likely had never heard of the neighborhood.
Unfortunately, our friends and neighbors, people with a real connection to the projects, could not invest with us. Even though they understood the risks, the opportunity and our vision, there was no feasible economical vehicle to allow them to invest and participate in the projects. The vast majority of these investments are limited to a very small, select number of institutional investors. The reality is that as an individual, it is easier to invest in a company in a foreign country than to invest in a property literally next door.
So we started Pure Crowd Capital with a specific goal; to create a simple and transparent process that gives everyone in their community the opportunity to invest in real estate. We wanted to make it possible to invest and make high yield returns while also contributing something back to your community. Thus, the lucrative returns these investments generate go back to the local community, instead of to out of state (even out of the country) equity funds or institutional investment firms who have no attachment to our community’s success. These institutions only concern is if they get paid, not with the overall effect on the community.

At this time we are currently only serving the state of Michigan, as we are diligently working on expanding our borrower and investor network to include every state in our great country.
